Torch Relay for Asian Youth Games 2009

On Sunday 28 June 2009 , there will be a torch relay to commemorate the starting of the Asian Youth Games (AYG). Students are invited to run a length of the route together with the torchbearer; the run will end at Pasir Ris Elias Community Club for a carnival style celebration. The route is estimated to be 1.5km long.

Each participant will be given an exclusive T-shirt to be worn on the day of event. The organizer will call for a briefing to all participants before the event (date to be confirmed).

The whole event will last from about 745am to 1000am. At the end of the event, the participants will be invited to the carnival activities and exchange for food with food vouchers distributed earlier in the day.

I already have your NRIC and email, you would need to sms me your date of birth if you are interested.

Unfortunately, this event is again opened to sec 1 and 2. I sms’ed all so that the senior would be aware of the activities the juniors are involved in.

For those who are intersted the deadline is 2nd june tuesday 5pm.
